Executive Mastery in OD and Appreciative Leadership
The Executive Mastery in Organisational Development and Appreciative Leadership (EMODAL) has been designed to help LEADERS and ORGANISATIONS to have the ability to recognize the “chemistry-of-strengths” and values of what works best in every situation, especially in the field of community development, team transformation, discovery programming, and effectiveness.
In the course of practicing OD in Africa, College for Community and Organisational Development identified three (3) major strategic issues as follows:
- Most leaders are challenged in OD knowledge and wisdom (competencies),
- Poor capacity in using the facilitative approach to development
- Low technical entrepreneurial intelligence (TEI).
These 3 strategic issues were investigated through the Action Research Model, and produced the EMODAL Programme, to deal with local and global competitiveness challenges, leading to sustaining teams, businesses/organisations as well as the capacity of large institutions to continue to rethink strategically and transformationally, in order to be agile.
The EMODAL Programme is created by Benarkuu, G.G (2015) and powered by the Institute of Organization Development (IOD), USA, for African Leaders and Consultants.
